 Dear colleagues (apologies for cross-posting)
 In case you are interested in connectivity policies and alternative solutions to bridge the digital divides, you might enjoy reading this study on “Community Networks in Latin America: Challenges, Regulations and Solutions”
 The purposes of this study are threefold:

+ highlighting the potential of community networks in terms of expanding connectivity and its positive social, cultural and economic externalities;
+ analysing the legal frameworks for CNs in Latin America, considering international law and national legislations;
+ identifying the policy elements that might optimize the development of CNs and the regulatory experiences that have allowed removing obstacles to their full operation.

 The study is sponsored by ISOC in partnership with APC, FGV and Redes A.C. and can be freely downloaded here https://www.internetsociety.org/resources/doc/2018/community-networks-in-latin-america/
 The Spanish version is available here https://www.internetsociety.org/es/resources/doc/2018/redes-comunitarias-en-america-latina/
 All the best
 Luca
