Colleagues, hello and greetings to all. I trust everyone is keeping well.

I am Kawsu Sillah, a young Computer engineer, ICT professional, Internet
and youth activist.  I have in past worked on different projects and
campaigns on promoting access to affordable and reliable internet, data
protection, privacy, censorship, surveillance, and promotion of young women
and girls' participation in the fields of S&T, engineering, and mathematics
in the Gambia and Africa region.

I was a fellow of the African School on IG (Cohort 2014) by APC and NEPAD
Agency of e-Africa programme. Currently, I am coordinating 'YouinCyber' a
cyber safety and security awareness campaign, an initiative by the Insafe
network, on behalf of the European Commission as part of Global Safer
Internet Day activities to promote safer and more responsible use of online
technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people
across the world.

I am happy to be here.
