It seems that Google hates the ruling enough that they've intentionally
set this up in such a way that it will create a serious risk of a
Streisand Effect when the feature is actually used:

I expect that it should be a major discussion topic at the EuroDIG that
now such decisions of a US based company, which flow out of the US
perspective on what the boundary line should be between privacy rights
and the rights of companies to disseminate information, seem to have
greater power over Europeans than what is considered fundamental rights
in Europe.
