IMO we should be careful to avoid any reasonable possibility of
misinterpretation of the statement as an endorsement of the view
that multistakeholderism is somehow "democracy 2.0" (a view to
which I'd very strongly object.)
How about "... through democratic and multistakeholder processes."?
