Good writeup.

I see that the notion that the internet and the world wide web are the 
same thing is creeping back into the discussions.  That false belief 
tends to make people forget that the internet is a foundation for much 
more than websites.

By-the-way, since we are talking about public morality, should not ICANN 
rename its "intellectual property" nodules so that their names more 
properly reflect that they are composed of the "intellectual property 
protection industry" rather than people from the realm of "intellectual 
property creation"?
