[governance] EU-elections german pirates party censored

Interestingly I spoke about this to my son who earns his living as a music
composer arranger - and a substantial part of that is performance royalties
on radio, tv etc -

His take on this is that people who make money from his music should pay
royalties. People who just listen to copies and enjoy, different story. They
should have access to all music, we all should, its a great thing if we can
all hear music without having to pay recording companies $$$. Just like we
access information, we should access music. He is happy to provide figures
if anyone wants them to show that very little if any of copy - right charges
ends up in the hands of the performers/composers.

Which backs up Peter's point below.
