The connection between privacy and DNSSEC was actually discussed at
the DNSSEC workshop during the ICANN meetings in Luxembourg. Search
for "zone enumeration" in [1], and Peter Koch's remarks on deploying
DNSSEC for .de.
(Also note that this particular aspect of the problem looks like
it's solvable by protocol design means; [2].)
