[Governance] IGF MAG 2025 nominations

Hello all, and Dani,

Thanks for the message and bringing this to the lists attention.

I’m not sure but I reckon the nominations are for current or previous MAG
members only. And, on that note we also have names like Mine, Valeria
Bettancourt and Anriette that could be part of the coordinated efforts re.
the nominations.

I can’t speak for others but I would also like to be nominated again and to
continue serving on the MAG. But there are some specificities of this call
that might make it a bit harder and on that note I’d like to call the
attention for the guidelines specifying that you can only nominate someone
that served together with you - in one of the 3 cohorts of your terms.

Perhaps one solution we can consider could be a letter of support on behalf
some CSO names and a request that in selecting the coming MAG Un Desa
considers aspects like gender and regional representation, as well as
proven track record of engagement with the IGF ecosystem.
