Agreed.

Let's get elections organized and move on.

I don't see a need to wait for new members migrating from Bestbits to
be approved and become eligible to vote either: not only there aren't
likely to be many such, but elections aren't the only or main
activity: even if someone misses voting now they can still be as
active as they want otherwise, and participate in the elections next
time. And after the lengthy discussion on Bestbits list I'd expect
active people there to have subscribed to IGC list already (does
anyone have numbers of recent subscriptions?).

Not that waiting an extra two months would be a big deal either,
especially since I think it'll take at least a month to get it
done in any case.

As for the website, if a decision is made to move the mailing list as
well, I can help there if need be: I've got lots of experience in
moving Mailman instances along with their archives &c.
