Dear Sala,

While you are free to comment on the process and show your disagreement,
the discussions about the IGC and BestBits merger have been going on since
- at least - january. And, to be very honest, if it wasnt for this
discussion IGC would have continue to be in the limbo it was before - zero
discussions, emails or members showing interest. So im taking this revived
interest from our members at our list is an important moment.

So, while I respect your opinions (as always), I dont think I am one to be
called incompetent - especially because we have been tirelessly trying to
put the discussion forward on this list. And regardless of what we do, the
discussion is always shut down in some way.

On my email I mentioned that the agenda items for the upcoming call would
be - charter revision, elections and one day zero event - this does not
mean that Arsene and I decided unilaterally on a revision, but that we
wanted to hear what membership thought of it and the ways in which it
should be done. The same goes for elections, with the low participation in
the list after all the problems we went through, I am afraid that if we
open elections now there would be only arsene, Parminder, Sheetal, Ian and
Yourself voting - considering the charter requirements to be a voting
member - is that legitimate ?

Once again, I am interested in hearing back from all of you on possible
ways forward and I dont really believe in losing time in infighting. The
so-called merger has already been decided on with bestbits agreeing on its
closure and having their members joining IGC. Now its the time for us to
restructure and restrengthen IGC, but how are we doing it ?

Best Regards,
Bruna Santos
