Hi everyone!
I've worked on creating a data protection course - GDPR for citizens - for
the last year and I'd like to invite you all good folks to join our course
@ https://digirights.info. The project has been funded by ISOC and the
Finnish Foreign Ministry. It takes about seven hours to go through the
whole material, but of course, it might take you up to 1-3months to get a
reply for your Subject Access Request.
Not only does this course teach people their rights and how to exercise
them, but we also collect feedback on the SARs, to better analyse, which
companies are not complying with the GDPR and what kinds of difficulties
people have in completing their data requests and in receiving their
personal data, that they requested for. There are also weekly webinars to
help guide people to go through the course. These take place on Tuesdays at
16 UTC, at this address: https://livestream.com/internetsociety2/digirights.
If you'd like to help us getting some exposure on this free course, please
re-tweet: https://twitter.com/Digirightsinfo/status/1088793245931524097
Thank you for your attention, and apologies for cross-posting,
-Raoul
P.S. The course is also available in Finnish, at https://digioikeudet.info
