[governance] IGC workshop proposal for the IGF 2017 submitted

Dear colleagues,

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to our workshop proposal, i
cannot name all of you but you know yourself. Huge thanks.

Also, thanks to those who offered to be considered as speakers. We will
reach out to you in the near future when we will have heard back from the
IGF Secretariat, on the accepted proposals. Once our proposal is accepted,
I will reach out to you for next steps.

It is always a great honour to work with you all in this community and
especially when you are responding to my calls :). I cannot do it without
you. So many of you are active and are reaching out privately, which is so
wonderful.

Now that this has gone out of the way, i will be "relaunching" the call for
a new Co-cordinator to support me. Expect an email on this coming up and
hope so many of you will offer to serve alongside me.

On a separate note: It is great to meet some of you attending the Internet
Freedom Forum (#IFF2017) happening this week in Lagos, Nigeria. Thank you
for having responded to my email in this regards :)
