[governance] IGC endorsements for MAG 2016 CS reps

Hi Renata, Arsene, and all.
The confusion is understandable, Renata. Arsene answered with the short
version (thanks). Here is the long version.

The IGF Secretariat/UNDESA application process closes Feb. 1st (not 31
January as I said). BUT that also means that the CSCG must submit our
letter of endorsements by then also.

Anyone who wants to, from any stakeholder group, can submit a nomination
application until Feb. 1st.

The Civil Society Coordination Group - CSCG channels civil society
endorsements to assist the selection process, working to ensure that the
final selections are in line with the consensus/preferences of as many CS
members as possible, so that CS has a voice in the selection of our
representatives.

If someone wants the CSCG to consider them for endorsement to the IGF
Secretariat/UNDESA MAG selection process, they must be endorsed by their
civil society representative group(s). In this case, it would seem that you
should ask for endorsement by the IGC (this list), and the IGC should, as a
group, discuss all IGC CS endorsement requests. The IGC co-coordinators
should submit the IGC endorsements through your representative on the CSCG
-- in this case, Analia.

In order for the CSCG NomCom to carefully consider the names from member
groups of the CSCG, we need to have the names of nominees from the CSCG
groups by 25 January.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please let me know,
here on the list, or offlist.

Cheers,
Ginger
