Felicidad para 2016... y gracias por tu mensaje.

Tengo entendido que ell proceso de selección para el CSCG independent chair
fue por discusión y consenso entre el grupo de coordinación que tiene
representantes de diversos grupos de la sociedad civil (no fue una
elección).

Una forma de lograr mayor representación en los grupos globales es de
seguir postulándonos para posiciones, y trabajando activamente.

Lamentablemente, aunque el espanol es (según mis investigaciones) el idioma
materno más hablado en el mundo, no es el idioma común--el inglés sigue
siendo el idioma entendido por más gente. A veces es más importante
comunicarnos que hablar nuestro idioma proprio, o por lo menos, así pienso
yo. Para comunicarnos con un grupo grande multilingual, el inglés a menudo
resulta ser el idioma más práctico. De todos modos, yo sigo a la orden para
llevar los temas de importancia para LAC y los hispanoparlantes. No hesitan
de contactarme en las listas o por email privado.
