Thanks for your message and I can't agree more with you.
In the DRC, we are working on having our first national IGF in May which will allow us to go to the sub-regional, regional and then the global IGF well prepared. I also hope we will know from the MAG on the main theme and sub themes so that we can align conversations within that scope.
I think having the global IGF in December is great so no excuses for some countries, sub regions and regions to not have their respective events before.

Is anybody aware of the progress?The theme helps local IGFs plan on time, and drive discussion in their local contexts. It's also important we encourage countries to have the local IGFs before the regional IGFs, and regional IGFs before the Global IGF.
