Agree with Anja too.. I think we need to excercise caution. I do think
that once we know more about this event we should intervene strongly.
At this point I think a general outcome statement from the Best Bits
meeting (with support from the IGC if it can reach consensus) could
praise this initiative, but make come cautionary points about it. We
should also use the opportunity of talking with Brazilian colleagues and
government people in Bali to get more insight into how they envision
this event.
I would not write another letter before the IGF.
