Yes, which seemed to me to contradict the previous sentence:

The way I interpreted that was that you wanted to stop such videos
from being distributed because of the violence, and that in turn to me
sounded like supporting said violence, as its apparent purpose is
stopping distribution of the video.

So, my misunderstanding of your statements made them seem contradictory
to me, which is why I said "... seem to ..." - not to suggest that
it was what you actually meant but to indicate my uncertainty of
your intention.

I do not and did not intend to suggest that you actually condone
violence, only that your words could be so (mis)interpreted -
as noted we do need to choose our words very carefully.

Thank you for clarification, and my apologies for misunderstanding
and expressing myself unclearly.
