by creating a rights framework, the rights disabling technologies would 
need a severe justification and shift the burden of proof as to 
reasonableness... but what we have is respect for property rights 
allowing designers complete autonomy in designing and setting up stuff 
and when the like of Apple get caught "collecting" GPS location 
information it is not a rights violation and can be meet with "oops" 
(notwithstanding the multiple other violations that such "design" flaw 
created)...
