Maybe because having an insecure Internet means ease of cyber attacking
other nations (such as the StuxNet, Flame, and Gauss). We all know what was
the purpose of these worms.
In other words, an insecure Internet paves the way for a platform where
cyber-wars can take place as opposed to physical wars.
