Wolfgang, all
PP approved a resolution about the overall review of the implementation of the outcomes of the WSIS, thus carefully following the wording of TA § 111. The SG was instructed to initiate consideration for the preparation of the review in the UN Chief Executives Board (CEB), including the possibility of a high-level event. He was asked to convey to the CEB that multistakeholder approach shoukd be used in the preparations, coordinating them with all stakeholders. The Council (2011) is invited to decide on the role and contribution of ITU to the review.
Best,
Yrjö
