One would presume it is the northern hemisphere summer being referred to. But there are TWO summer solstices. Us folk in the southern hemisphere have one too.

This is one reason why will have TWO "Summer Schools on Internet Governance" (SSIG) in 2009. One (in July) in Meissen/Germany and one (in March) in Buenos Aires/Argentina :-)))))
