Forgot to translate the footnote in my reply to Michael:

freio de arrumação (Brazilian Portuguese) -- a bus driver hits the
brakes when it is full and people are not moving to allow more people to
enter. So he hits the "freio" (brakes) to do an "arrumação"
(reorganizing) of the people inside the bus. :)
