<cross-posted warning label>

I know I've said this before, but...

Whatever is created MUST be better or equal to the best Internet
Policy Development Processes that we have now. It was acknowlwdged by
many on the governance caucus list that the RIR policies are the
"cleanest" of the ICANN processes.

Why don't we use these as models to organise ourselves around:

    * AfriNIC
      http://www.afrinic.net/policy.htm
    * APNIC
     http://www.apnic.net/docs/policy/dev/index.html
    * ARIN
      http://www.arin.net/policy/index.html
    * LACNIC
      http://lacnic.net/en/politicas/index.html
    * RIPE NCC
      http://www.ripe.net/ripe/policies/

IMO, this is the bar we have to clear. Take a look, it won't hurt you
(except maybe your preconceptions) ;-P
