[bestbits] Open Call for Digital Rights in Latin America

 We announce the launch of the Initiative for Digital Rights in Latin
America (Indela <https://indela.fund>).

Under the strategic direction of Fundación Avina <http://www.avina.net>,
Luminate <https://luminategroup.com/> and Open Society Foundations
<https://www.opensocietyfoundations.org/>, and supported by the Ford
Foundation <https://www.fordfoundation.org/> and the International
Development Research Center <https://www.idrc.ca/>(IDRC), Indela is an
initiative that will fund, build capacities and provide support to
organizations that promote digital rights in Latin America.

Between 2019 and 2021, Indela will fund *projects of digital rights
organizations in Latin America*, on public campaigns, applied research,
advocacy and litigation on topics: freedom of expression, privacy and
access to knowledge.

The first Open Call closes on *March 31, 2019*, with a financing limit per
project of up to *USD 75,000*.
