Dear all,

Just over a week ago, MPAA, PhRMA, and RIAA launched a new platform to
lobby NAFTA: "Action For Trade" is called (http://actionfortrade.org/).

This is bad news. Some reports (ia, WSJ
<https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-floats-nafta-proposal-that-could-erode-copyright-liability-protection-1506460138>,
Inside US trade 1
<https://insidetrade.com/daily-news/sources-nafta-ip-chapter-suggests-ustr-could-favor-content-industry-approach>,
Inside US trade 2
<https://insidetrade.com/daily-news/hatch-us-rights-holders-back-exclusion-fair-use-reference-nafta>)
already indicate that NAFTA is increasingly looking like ACTA regarding IP
and internet issues.

So, with Action For Trade we have further bad news. The copyright lobby is
trying to turn NAFTA into ACTA (nAfCTA?).
