[bestbits] Until 27nov: Call for volunteers - Best Bits CSCG representative

Dear Best Bits Members, 

With reference to the following call for nominations to serve the role
of Best Bits Representation to the Internet Governance Civil Society
Coordination Group (CSCG) Working Group, we received nominations from
following three candidates: 

 	* Adebunmi Adeola Akinbo
 	* Vrikson Iván Acosta Velásquez
 	* Cláudio Lucena

We are pleased to announce that Best Bits Steering Committee has
selected Cláudio Lucena with majority votes. Claudio Lucena is a
champion in research and capacity building in Internet Governance. He
was also shortlisted as CSCG IGF MAG alternate and could be interested
to have a dialogue with the MAG. 

BB SC is forwarding his name to the Chair CSCG to serve the role of Best
Bits Representation to the CSCG Working Group for next two years
replacing Poncelet Ileleji. 

We acknowledge the receipt of very strong set of candidates, and we
would like to express our appreciation to each of them for their
willingness to serve the Best Bits. We encourage Adebunmi and Vrikson to
apply for next opportunity. We look forward to their continued
engagement with the Best Bits. 

We are also thankful to Poncelet Ileleji for his services as Best Bits
representative to CSCG Working Group (2016-2017).
