ISIF Asia Awards 2015: Nominations open until 15 June
_________________________________________________________________


Nominations are now open for the Information Society Innovation
Fund (ISIF Asia) 2015 Awards, which recognize innovative projects
that use the Internet as a social development tool to promote
access, openness, inclusion and human rights in the Asia Pacific.

A total of four projects will be awarded AUD 3,000 to support
their work.

Project representatives will also receive a travel grant to
attend the awards ceremony at the 10th Internet Governance Forum
in João Pessoa, Brazil in November 2015 where they will have the
opportunity to promote their work at the influential Internet
event. In addition, one of the four projects awarded will receive
AUD 1,000 as part of the Community Choice Award, given to the
project with the highest number of votes from a public social
media campaign.

The ISIF Asia Awards will be granted to projects that have
already been implemented or are in the final stages of
implementation, and that are in line with the eligibility
criteria. The Awards are given in four categories:

    - Innovation on access provision
    - Innovation on learning and localization
    - Code for the common good
    - Rights

Nominations close 15 June 2015.
