Best wishes for Best Bits without me

I am writing from Dubai airport, where I am likely to be staying until tomorrow having missed my connecting flight due to a flight delay. Therefore, I don't expect to be at Best Bits tomorrow. 

Obviously this is a great disappointment to me personally, but since my involvement in Best Bits has been mostly behind the scenes, I don't expect that it need have any effect on the success of your discussions and deliberations tomorrow.

Andrew has the details of how to establish the web conference - though he may ask one of you to lend him your webcam-enabled computer to use for this - and so I may even be able to connect to Best Bits remotely before I arrive in person. 

All the best to each of you, and I look forward to hearing how you made this a great meeting in my absence.
