I am pleased to announce the creation of the *Emerging Economies AI Network
(EEAIN) <http://www.eeain.org>*, a new multistakeholder initiative
dedicated to ensuring that emerging nations are active participants in
shaping the governance of Artificial Intelligence.

Our vision is simple yet ambitious:

*A world where emerging economies engage actively in global AI governance,
align with responsible AI principles, and deploy AI in ways that advance
sustainable and inclusive development.*

The network will serve as a collaborative platform where policymakers,
researchers, innovators, and civil society leaders from across emerging
regions can:

   Share knowledge and research,

   Strengthen capacity in AI governance and ethics, and
   -

   Amplify their voices in global discussions shaping the future of AI.
