The hearing examined nearly 20 bills forming a proposed comprehensive
federal framework for youth online safety, including KOSA, COPPA 2.0, age
verification, chatbot regulation, app design safeguards, parental controls,
and FTC enforcement authorities. A follow up *markup session had been
announced
