We have finalized the program for the workshop, "Does AI Need Governance? Examining the Political Economy of Machine Learning." We will bring together Internet governance scholars Laura DeNardis, Viktor Mayer-Schonberger, and Milton Mueller; policy practitioners in the AI field such as OECD's Karine Perset and former NTIA staff Grace Abuhamad, legal scholar Clay Calvert on AI and first amendment law, Deven Desai on AI and copyright, RAND Corp's Lennart Heim, Alexander Strait of the Ada Lovelace Institute and  Nirit Weiss-Blatt on AGI, and several others.
