Dear all,

Please find attached the letter we sent to the Office of the Secretary
General's Tech Envoy (OSET) with the two joint nominations supported by IGC
and APC. Please also find below the response we received (in italics).

Best wishes
Sheetal.

[FROM OSET in response to receipt of letter (attached)]

Thank you for your message. This email is to acknowledge receipt of your
nomination for the multi-stakeholder High-level Advisory Body on Artificial
Intelligence. We deeply appreciate your interest and engagement in this
critical matter.

As the review process moves forward, we will thoroughly assess all the
nominations to ensure a fair and comprehensive selection of candidates. The
final selection of members will be made with utmost diligence and
consideration, keeping in mind the need for balanced representation from
various regions and backgrounds. While we understand the anticipation
surrounding the outcome, we kindly request your patience as we carefully
assess each nomination.

We have been receiving a high level of responses to the call for
nominations. We will be sharing updates on the selection process after the
deadline has been closed (31 August 2023). We thank you in advance for
your kind patience, and please feel free to reach out if you have any
questions or require further information. Once again, thank you for your
interest and time.

Sincerely,

Office of the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Technology
