Hi Farzaneh,

Thank you very much for sharing, personally I wasn't aware of this sad news. It's amazing that we didn't hear much about it even at the last ICANN meeting. Sala was a dynamic and intelligent woman, and she will be sorely missed. Sincere condolences to all her family and may the earth of our ancestors be light to her. May her soul rest in peace.

Sala passed away some time ago. I can’t find the thread on this mailing list about her passing. But if we discussed, no harm in discussing again. Sala was fierce, with a strong will and asked questions and did not let us get away with things easily. Characteristics that we desperately need in governance spaces. It’s a terrible loss. She had so much more contribute. 

Sorry if this is repetitive. She always came to this mailing list to remember those who passed away. I didn’t want her to be forgotten.
