[Governance] CPDP Latam on 12-13 July

Dear colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to announce that the CPDP LatAm<https://cpdp.lat/pt-br/programa/> (the Latin American edition of the Computers, Privacy and Data Protection conference), will take place next week on 12 and 13 July at Fundação Getulio Vargas, in Rio de Janeiro.
The main theme of the 2022 edition will be Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection in Latin America. We will have 24 sessions, 2 plenary sessions, 2 side events and 100+ speakers from 32 countries. The opening and closing plenary sessions will be livestreamed on YouTube. Below you can find the agenda of the plenary sessions.*
Speakers will analyse a wide range of key issues including AI governance, regulation and ethics, algorithmic discrimination, face recognition, Privacy Enhancing Technologies, digital transformation and data protection, new data protection laws and authorities in the region, smart cities, etc. from a Latin American perspective.
The plenary sessions will have simultaneous translation in EN, PT and ES. The links the live streaming of the plenary sessions in the various languages will be shared on Monday 11th on www.cpdp.lat<http://www.cpdp.lat/>
