The challenges that the full employment of cryptography face in Brazil and
in the world are continuous. Among proposals for filtering communications
content, weakening cryptography for access to communications by
investigative authorities, and making it mandatory for providers to employ
message traceability mechanisms, the risks that the security of connected
infrastructures and users' rights face are varied. In order to map these
policies, the contexts from which they arise and the challenges they
potentially offer, we will bring together panelists from different regions
of the world - Asia, Europe and the Americas - as well as researchers and
Brazilian police representatives. The event is part of the schedule of

Los desafíos que enfrenta el pleno empleo de la criptografía en Brasil y en
el mundo son continuos. Entre las propuestas para filtrar el contenido de
las comunicaciones, debilitar la criptografía para el acceso a las
comunicaciones por parte de las autoridades investigadoras y hacer
obligatorio que los proveedores empleen mecanismos de trazabilidad de
mensajes, los riesgos que enfrentan la seguridad de las infraestructuras
conectadas y los derechos de los usuarios son variados. Para mapear estas
políticas, los contextos de los que surgen y los desafíos que
potencialmente ofrecen, reuniremos a panelistas de diferentes regiones del
mundo - Asia, Europa y América - así como a investigadores y representantes
de la policía brasileña. El evento forma parte de la programación de
