Would it not be a good idea if this archive were housed in a university library somewhere?

I said this before, my archive goes back to December 2003. Bill's and Adam's archive should cover an even earlier stage.

Dear all

I have a copy of the mailing list from 2008 onwards. I have earlier years archived somewhere, but 2008-19 I have on my current hard drive so I can contribute the missing years. Let me know how and when and to whom.

Good Point Ian. Be good Farzaneh for you to take the lead from here. Be great to see how you envisage the stages. I have suggested some which are in the earlier email. I am on a flight tomorrow so will be out of range for a couple of days. I would recommend that we divide work so it is faster such as content, technical and design but I defer to your preference as I will be intermittently responding from here on end.

Best Regards,
Sala

    Hi Sala,

earlier on Farzeneh suggested the concept of developing the new
website in stages - I would like to see how she envisages this
happening before commiting to any timetable. Perhaps a simple path
forward like importing existing (still relevant) content and
outline to a new basic site, and then looking at enhancements? In
any case I would like to see how Farzeneh suggests we proceed.

    Dear All.

I have enclosed a Draft Project Plan to kickstart the process and
be good for you all to see if the dates are doable. This is
starting today and getting it ready by end of August with the
view of observing for migration issues in September, 2019. For
details, see Excel spreadsheet that is attached.

    For a bird's eye view:

        Dear All,

We need to get cracking. Bruna, let us know if you have any
further comments. As you can see, you have support of people
stepping up to help. We need some more volunteers and be good
to have some people who specialise in graphics or are
naturally artistic. I think we can start and people can
continue to volunteer and we just slide them in whilst
working. Bruna can oversee the work and a Website Project
lead, report back to Bruna and the community.

If there are no pressing objections to the work, then we can
        start.
