For years, in some sort of innovative jam-session, ICANN, the ITU, the IGF,
and the IETF have been developing new ways of managing events: verbatim
transcripts, e-participation, and remote hubs have changed the way digital
events are run. Organisations are learning from each other and helping each
other.
It is a unique contribution of the IG community towards more inclusive and
effective global governance (an important public good). This
e-participation practices could be extended in sustainable development,
migration, climate change, food, and health policy processes.
At the Geneva Engage conference ICANN, ITU, IGF and IETF will discuss what
has been achieved and how to continue this unique ‘jam-session’ of
innovation. The session is organised and moderated by DiploFoundation who
has been pioneer in e-participation for last 15 years.
Join us online on 27th February at 14.40 - 16.00 CET. on Adobe Connect
