Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Just a reminder for new members or for those who may have forgotten -
voting in an election is also the qualification for being able to vote on
amending the Charter. "The membership requirements for amending the charter
are based on the most currently available voters list. In amending the
charter, everyone who voted in the previous election will be deemed a
member for amending the charter."
This is why Parminder sent a reminder of the need for a "None" option, so
that everyone who wishes can vote in the election without being forced to
make a choice. Thank you again Parminder.
Therefore should you wish to involve yourself in a possible future vote on
amending the Charter, it is CRITICALLY IMPORTANT that you register a vote
in this election by identifying yourself as a member of the IGC, and
selecting one of the three candidates or "None of the above".
There is still some time left
Best wishes
Deirdre
