BTW, next year in October we can celebrate the 60th anniversary of Sputnik 1, the shock which rocked the boat and triggered the establishment of NASA and the "Advanced Research Project Agency" (ARPA) in February 1958 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. :-))).

Quite right. The migration from NCP to TCP in 1983 is usually associated
with Arpanet retirement and Internet birth.
