Arsene –

To add – ISOC also has a YOUTH SIG and we can recommend some members from the SIG from South America who could participate.

Best regards,
Jane

Dear Arsène,
you know me from the youth mailing list (and also from the NRI list, I run the German IGF and am also part of the European secretariat, EuroDIG). Together with a few NGOs I created the IGF Academy, where we gathered funding to get 20 fellows from Latin America, Africa and Asia to the IGF and to create or foster local IG structures in their countries. They are mainly civil society and very diverse, some run NGOs, some others are citizen journalists, half of them women, many under 30 years old. So they are experts, but many of them have never been to a UN IGF due to financial difficulties. I read the comments from the MAG about diversity, etc. If there is a way we can help by pointing to any of our fellows, please do come back.
Regards from Colombo, where our second regional IGF Academy workshop is taking place right now :)

Furthermore, please find below the comments made by the MAG during evaluation to help you further refine and update your proposal:
<Improve gender and geography balance and work on a clear options for remote participation

good subject..

if more diversity of stakeholder group representations would be great.

It is not clear what specific issue this workshop addresses and how various stakehoders can learn from it.>

Please note that failure to provide the aforementioned updates by the indicated deadline of 2 September 2016 may result in a reallocation of your workshop slot.

We thank you for your continued engagement in the IGF process and we look forward to working together toward a successful 11th IGF. For further information, please do not hesitate to contact us by email at IGF at unog.ch<mailto:IGF at unog.ch>.
