Thanks for sharing this. I just read the speech and I find it insightful.
Well done! I didn't know there was a dreamer hiding behind those piercing
eyes :)
Now on a serious note, the challenge is to suppress the kind of
inequalities and power imbalances that characterize the national state
universe while building that rising Internet nation and claiming its
independence. While the lines of demarcation of inequalities and imbalances
will be different from the (physical) territorial universe to the
cyber-universe, I am less optimistic about them (inequalities and
imbalances) going away. Certainly not by themselves or by the virtue of the
Internet's architecture and features. And as says Aristotle, "All virtue is
summed up in dealing justly."
Anyway, good job for sounding the note of singularity and diversity in
civil society viewpoints!
