Despite Daniel's sensible statement that Nnenna's speech was just an "excellent" statement of her remit to represent civil society, I would like to offer my personal and institutional support for Deirdre's motion to endorse the speech to reinforce our shared belief that the speech is a true expression of civil society hopes and concerns for the future of the Internet. Some [good] ideas deserve to be repeated.

After all, the Gettysburg Address is not just another piece of funerary rhetoric.
