Brazil deserves a big applaud!

BTW, relating this to the discussion at the civil society meeting
today, this is a show-piece of a democratic systems (legislature
passing the law) based on participatory democracy (the huge,
well-structured, really bottom up, open, transparent public
consultations and inputs) with a strong element of multistakeholderism
based on clear processes (the initial Internet principles of CGI.Br)

and NOT 'equal footing multistakeholderism' where corporates would be
put on the same pedestal as legitimate people's representation in
relation to 'actual decision making' for 'public policies' and laws.
