Hmm... how soon is this "soon"?

I'm asking because of the pending charter amendment vote that will, if
it passes, replace the per-selection-task nomcom process with a yearly
nomcom.

So - is this so urgent that it would be appropriate to initiate the
process for creating a per-selection-task nomcom immediately, without
waiting for the results of the charter amendment vote?
