[governance] 2013 Preparations for MAG - Nominations

Hi,

I do not understand a ballot.

We do not have provisions for voting on representatives such as this and I would argue that selection by voting is counter to the charter that demands a nomcom.

Whereas endorsing the previous years list would just be an act of endorsement that could be done using the consensus mechanism as it is not a new selection.

I am very much against turning the selection of MAG or anything else into a vote without charter changes.
