Avri, Robert is right. You are really missing the point. The point is not that they would make videos of run of the mill IGF attendees such as you and me for fun. Rather, the hotel-room cameras a) show that hotel operators may be tools of the state surveillance apparatus; b) the sex tapes are used to embarrass/blackmail journalists and politicians who might criticize or oppose the government. That DOES affect the "conditions of people living in Azerbaijan." You might try reading the press release that Robert distributed and not just the headline.
