The World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT) is being
convened in December 2012 to review the International
<http://www.itu.int/ITU-T/itr/files/ITR-e.doc> Telecommunications
Regulations (ITRs) which date from 1988. The ITU Secretariat has developed a
number of Background Briefs on key issues that are expected to be discussed
at the conference, as well as answers to a list of frequently asked
questions (FAQs) that will be updated as necessary.
