I can only echo Betrand. Boycott is nonsense. But we should make the Y.2770 as an issue for EURODIG in Lisbon and IGF in Bali. My understanding is that it is just a standard. The nproblems wll come with implementation and applications.

Dear all, 

Beyond the substance related to the DPI standard, Simon seems to confuse several fora: the UN, the ITU, WTSA, WCIT, WSIS and the IGF. 

Advocating boycotting the IGF because something was adopted at WTSA seems a strange conclusion. I would argue this is one more reason to participate in IGF and potentially raise this topic there.
