Peter, McTim, and all,

  I agree with McTim as well, but do not share his evaluation
that the "Afformation" has that meaning or intent. Rather the
meaning or intent is very nebulus at best and largely provides
for special interest groups an opertunity to grab significant
influence if not outright control of the direction and policies
going forward of the Internet.  However national based legal
regimes will continue to evolve that may put much of that
in limbo if not check effectively.
