People will do what they have been doing since the inception of ICANN. They
will create their own DNS systems outside the U.S. government root, like
China did, and Russia, and Turkey and ..... etc. etc. And thats just some of
the countries.

While I agree the U.S. has a strong claim to DNS they don't control it. No
one does. That is the end nature of Internet protocol.
